Position Specific Information.
Limited grant funded position through September 2027 as part of the EASE program. Enhancing wellness through Affirming Services and Education (EASE) is a program providing substance use and mental health treatment for clients in the LGBTQIA+ community, MSM (Men having Sex with Men) population, HIV individuals and those individuals at high-risk for HIV.
The selected candidate will provide case management services and link clients to community resources and work with a team to assist clients in achieving mental, physical, and emotional mental health and wellness.
Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility as needed to include occasional weekends. Full time in office / on-site position located on Billingsley Road in Charlotte, NC 28211.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of two years in an applied setting such as substance use, mental health, developmental disabilities or other health conditions.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a human services related field.
Combination of relevant education and relevant experience accepted: Yes.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Requires a valid North Carolina or South Carolina Driver's License.
- Requires County Driving Privileges.
- Annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience performing case management duties with at risk populations.
- Previous experience working with individuals 18-35 years of age, who identify with the LGBTQIA+ community and may be experiencing mental health and/or substance use issues.
